Complete Early Childhood Cycle of Learning
GardenGate offers unique
Montessori options for families who love the quality of Montessori
but may wish to begin with a smaller time commitment in the first year, and a personal, homey,
half day-only program.
Joyful mornings for children, designed and
operated by an inspired,
and experienced educator Peaceful, Beautiful home and garden environment Unique, part time program: the quality of a
morning Montessori school, and partial week programs for our younger students. Your child will grow into
our four and five day programs. A
warm, personal teacher-
family relationship in a small school setting Garden Gate is a home-based, part time only, mainly mornings
program for families seeking something homey, beautiful, holistic, and personal for their children.
Your child will flourish in our multi-age community
designed to meet the individual needs of every student. We offer a joyful and personalized educational experience for children from 2.75 through 6 years of age.
Our Pre-primary Students
form a community of 20 students of
ages 3 to 6 years, with three Montessori teachers.
The Montessori Pre-primary class
includes the culminating Kindergarten year of the Montessori early
childhood level. Children who remain in their class through their kindergarten year enjoy the benefit of making full
use of the beautifully designed Montessori academic materials for which they have prepared themselves in the preschool years.
This is their leadership year when advanced work within their well loved environment and community takes place. The child's Kindergarten year is his/her crowning
year that solidifies the child's confidence, love of learning, inner motivation, and conceptual and skill development.
Our Two Morning Transition Group is a cozy group of our youngest students integrated
on Mondays and Fridays with our four and five day Pre-primary Students, to comprise a mixed-age group
of 20 students with three teachers, as described in our "Morning Programs" page.
