                              Visit and Application Information

                           Here is how you may become further acquainted with our school and apply for enrollment.

                                                                                       

      Parent Visit

    If you have not done so already, we request that you schedule a Parent Visit as the next step in getting acquainted with our school.  We want you to be able to see our preschool and kindergarten programs and have plentiful information before applying for enrollment. You may email Mimi Glass at Mimi@GardenGateMontessori.com or call the school at (925) 943-7484 to request a Parent Visit.

 ·        Prior to and at the beginning of our school year and sometimes prior to enrollment season, we schedule Open Houses and/or parent tour/orientation visits. Tours are scheduled to last half an hour to forty-five minutes, and include time for us to share information about the school and answer your questions. Applications may be requested at this time.

 

·        Once the school year is well under way,  Parent Observational Visits are arranged .  The observational visit  is designed especially for you, the parent, to allow you to individually observe how a class operates under usual circumstances without having to consider how your own child is responding to the environment, and how your child’s presence might be changing the usual pattern of classroom flow. You are welcome to request an application at the time of your visit . Otherwise you may call the school with questions that have not been adequately answered through our literature, our web site, and your visit.

       

Enrollment Application       

            Once, having read our information, visited our school, and asked questions, and you have decided that Garden Gate is probably the right school for your child, you may submit an Enrollment Application , and schedule an Enrollment Visit for you and your child.. We will give you detailed Enrollment Information along with your Enrollment Application. In rare instances, when parents already have abundant information and are certain that Garden Gate is the best placement for their child, an Applications may given prior to a Parent Visit. Applications will be accepted and enrollment visits scheduled in the order in which applications are received, and with some consideration given to balancing the age and gender configuration of the class. With your application, we will also give you information about the next steps in the enrollment process.

           Acceptance of your Enrollment Application gives your family an opportunity for an Enrollment Visit, and  short term placement on our list of potential enrollments. It is not a guarantee of placement in our programs.
